Responsibilities
- Manage and handle an independent litigation caseload
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend hearings and court proceedings
- Participate in trial preparation and trial work
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal analysis
- Maintain regular communication with clients and provide case updates
- Work collaboratively with attorneys while managing ongoing casework and filings
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in Texas
- 5 years of Civil Litigation experience
- Trial experience required
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage court appearances, motions practice, and active case dockets
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to client service
- Desire to grow within a litigation practice and take increasing responsibility
