Position Title: Program Planning and Controls Specialist

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract - Program Planning and Controls Specialist opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Issue and manage purchase orders to suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow up with vendors to confirm order status and ensure on-time delivery aligned with need-by dates
• Perform basic sourcing activities for parts and materials as required
• Review and track order confirmations to ensure accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines
• Coordinate logistics, including shipment tracking and resolving delivery issues
• Maintain accurate records of orders, supplier communications, and delivery status
• Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders on order status, risks, and delays
• Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and workflows.
  
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in program planning, scheduling, project controls, or similar work
• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud
• Strong experience with Oracle tools
• Integrated scheduling experience across technical or engineering-heavy programs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Program Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and driving alignment across teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to help teams crystalize ideas into clear schedules and execution plans
• Comfortable working onsite and engaging people in person
• Nuclear experience is a plus.
  
  
  

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Experience supporting product development programs
• Experience in energy, nuclear, or other highly technical industries
• Experience with schedule reporting, planning reviews, and program tracking
• Experience working in environments where speed, collaboration, and structure are all important
• Strong presence, confidence, and ability to drive conversations across multiple teams.

• Pay Rate: $52-$65 per hour
