Job Responsibilities:
- Testing and Validation: Perform routine testing and validation of less complex electronic assemblies and final systems using specialized test equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot circuitry or component-level issues, seeking guidance from senior staff as required for complex failures.
- System Set-up: Assist in the set-up and configuration of specialized test stands and instruments to prepare for production runs.
- Assembly and Rework: Perform precision assembly and occasional rework on assemblies or systems based on test results, utilizing hand tools and soldering irons.
- Process Monitoring: Monitor production processes for quality and productivity, adjusting electronics components or circuitry to ensure parts meet engineering instructions.
- Documentation: Prepare basic reports summarizing test findings and maintain accurate logs of quality records and calibration data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to maintain a clean and safe work environment (5s) while following technical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Education/Experience: Associate degree (AS) in Electronics Technology, a related technical field, or equivalent electronics military schooling. High-power electronics and/or avionics technician experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- Experience: Typically 1-2 years of direct, hands-on experience in a manufacturing, test, or maintenance environment, ideally with high-power electronics or industrial control systems.
- Technical Skills: * Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
- Basic electrical/electronic knowledge, including circuit boards, processors, and chips.
- Familiarity with Industrial Control and Data Acquisition software (e.g., HiPot testing).
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to use hand tools and soldering equipment for basic component replacement or adjustment.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and the ability to follow set procedures with minimal supervision on routine tasks.

- Salary Range: $24 - $37 per hour DOE. Target pay is $26-$30/hr.
