Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Product Marketing Specialist, Industrials with our client located in Santa Clara, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a robust library of sales & marketing enablement materials for the direct field (sales & marketing) — including vertical playbooks, GTM guides, battle cards, solution briefs, objection-handling guides, and competitive positioning decks for the Industrials vertical, particularly, manufacturing and automotive.
- Build partner-ready enablement kits tailored to channel and reseller partners operating in Manufacturing and Automotive segments
- Partner closely with field sales, SEs, and channel teams to ensure all materials are accurate, up to date, and aligned to current GTM motions
- Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, industry-relevant value propositions that resonate with industrial buyers (plant managers, OT leads, CIOs, and VP-level operations stakeholders)
- Create and maintain vertical-specific collateral — including customer-facing one-pagers, solution decks, case studies, and ROI tools — tailored for Manufacturing and Automotive use cases
- Develop partner collateral that enables resellers and distributors to confidently position our solutions in their own customer conversations
- Collaborate with the broader PMM team to ensure industrial messaging is integrated into core product launches and campaign payloads
- Work with design and content teams to bring materials to life in a polished, on-brand format
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Industrials — including Manufacturing and Automotive — providing market insights, buyer persona development, and competitive intelligence to inform GTM strategy
- Support the development of vertical messaging frameworks that align our product narrative to the specific pain points, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation trends within the industrial sector
- Contribute to MRD inputs and launch briefs by bringing forward customer and field insights from the Industrials segment
- Act as a key liaison between Product, Sales, Channel, and Marketing to ensure tight alignment on industrial GTM priorities
- Participate in field and partner readiness programs, including training sessions, SKOs, and partner summits
- Engage directly with customers, partners, and field teams to gather insights that continuously sharpen our messaging and collateral.
- 3–5 years of experience in Product Marketing, Field Marketing, or a related role; prior experience in B2B enterprise technology strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred.
- Deep domain expertise in Industrials — direct experience in Manufacturing and/or Automotive industries is required, either as a practitioner or in a marketing/sales role serving those verticals
- Proven track record of developing high-impact sales enablement content — battle cards, solution briefs, decks, and partner toolkits
- Strong understanding of industrial buyer personas and the operational and digital challenges they face (OT/IT convergence, manufacturing execution systems, supply chain resiliency, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to distill complex concepts into crisp, compelling narratives
- Experience working closely with channel and partner ecosystems is a strong plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, launch-driven environment
