Position Title: NVMe Test Engineer

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract NVMe Test Engineer opportunity located in San Jose, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning, Execution, and Debugging of Functional Tests: The candidate will be involved in planning, executing, and debugging functional tests for NVMe Solid State Drives (SSDs).
• Understanding Test Scripts and Debugging Failures: A significant part of the job involves understanding existing test scripts and debugging test failures that arise during execution. This requires collaboration with the development team.
• Expertise in Front-end Storage Protocols: The ideal candidate should have expertise in at least one front-end storage protocol, with NVMe/PCIe.
  
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• Expertise in NVMe/PCIe.
• Scripting skills with Python
• Experience with SSD or HDD testing.
• Strong technical foundation in storage protocols.
• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively with development teams.
  
  
  

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract
• Location: San Jose, CA.
• Pay Rate Range: $70-75/hr.
• Required U.S. Citizen OR Greencard holder.
