Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and performing preventive work on machines, equipment, and building systems to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts and reassemble equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance (inspect motors, belts, fluid levels, filters, etc.).
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments for repairs.
- Assemble, install, or repair wiring, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
- Inspect and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
- Record maintenance and repair work performed, including costs.
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery components.
- Dismantle devices with hoists, cranes, or tools to remove defective parts.
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Team player with attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with production processes, quality control, and manufacturing efficiency.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0–2 years of maintenance experience.
