We’re hiring an experienced Business Development Manager (Maine-based) to drive territory growth, account expansion, and new business development within the restoration/mitigation industry. As a Business Development Manager, you will collaborate closely with operations to ensure a seamless customer journey, from initial outreach through project completion, while strengthening referral networks and uncovering new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Territory Development & Account Growth
• Manage and execute a territory sales strategy targeting high-value accounts in Maine
• Drive new business development through prospecting, networking, and local industry events
• Build and strengthen referral relationships within construction, restoration, and insurance networks
• Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, converting activity into pipeline and revenue
Sales Process & Client Engagement
• Conduct in-depth discovery conversations to identify client needs, timelines, and decision-makers
• Position tailored solutions and secure contracts and work authorizations
• Maintain consistent client communication throughout the sales cycle and project lifecycle
Operations, Compliance & CRM Management
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity tracking in CRM (HubSpot or similar)
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, jobsite regulations, and company procedures
• Partner with operations teams to deliver exceptional client experiences
Required Qualifications
• 3 years of field sales or account management experience (REQUIRED)
• Proven success in business development (hunter sales role) with consistent quota achievement
• Experience in restoration, construction, facilities management, or insurance industries (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
• Strong sales discovery, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and close new business opportunities
• Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot (or equivalent)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within Maine territory

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation
• Base salary starting at $70,000 uncapped commission
• Commission draw during ramp period
• On-target earnings (OTE): $100,000 – $190,000
