Position: Chemical Operator

Location: Tulsa, OK

Pay: $22–$30/hour

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or industrial plant environment is required.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Job Description

• Operate chemical processing equipment, including reactors, pumps, filters, tanks, and PLC systems.
• Monitor chemical reactions and record process conditions and material changes.
• Adjust equipment controls to maintain product quality, safety, and yield targets.
• Collect product samples and perform quality control testing.
• Load and unload raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Respond to process deviations and assist with emergency shutdowns as directed.
• Support the development and improvement of standard operating procedures.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to read gauges, instruments, and written procedures accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with technical teams.
• Flexibility to work overtime and rotating shifts as required.
