Job Description
- Serve as the Management Representative for the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements across the Quality, Production, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering departments.
- Analyze and evaluate systems, data, products, technologies, quality control procedures, forms, and other applicable documentation.
- Track KPIs and quality trends, including quality objectives, and report progress during Management Review meetings.
- Lead and facilitate Management Review meetings.
- Coordinate and facilitate both internal and external audits.
- Perform and oversee quality inspections and audits of products, processes, and organizational systems.
- Conduct ongoing QMS training for all employees and maintain training records.
- Supervise, lead, and train Quality Control personnel.
- Manage the calibration program for measuring and test equipment.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, suppliers, and vendors to ensure products meet drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.
- Evaluate corrective actions, nonconforming materials, and out-of-tolerance gages in accordance with QMS requirements.
- Assist with troubleshooting products as needed to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Proven leadership ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of Quality Administration.
- Proficient in mathematical calculations and formulas as well as geometric tolerancing used in production drawings.
- Knowledge of all required measuring equipment required to perform inspections.
- Familiar with all applicable standards (API, ASME, NACE, ANSI, ISO, etc.).
- Computer file management literate.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
