Position: Quality Engineer

Location: Claremore, OK

Pay: $80,000/year

Experience: 3 years of experience in a Quality role within a manufacturing environment.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

ProRecruiters is seeking a Quality Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent product quality.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to identify defects, nonconformances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Analyze process and quality data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities; recommend and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, maintain, and control quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, reports, and records.
• Conduct internal audits, process audits, and product inspections to evaluate effectiveness and compliance.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to team members on quality systems, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve performance.
• Report quality performance metrics to management and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, preferably AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Proven knowledge of Quality Systems in a Manufacturing environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Occasional travel may be required.
