That includes air handling units with outside condensers, electrical distribution systems, switchgear, domestic hot water systems, UPS equipment, parking structure drainage, and life safety systems including fire pumps, sprinklers, smoke detectors, CO2 alarms, and fire dampers. You'll log everything through Entrata and a CMMS, and Scion also uses Building Automation Systems for monitoring and diagnostics.
On the unit side, you'll inspect vacated apartments, document needed repairs, and perform the hands-on work to get them rent-ready: appliance repair, carpentry, plumbing, painting, basic electrical. Common area upkeep, pressure washing, pool chemical maintenance, and snow removal are also part of the rotation. After-hours emergency response is real here. On-call coverage is expected outside approved PTO.

What Scion Requires
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school credential plus 3 to 5 years of full-time maintenance experience
- HVAC certification and EPA 608 (Type I and II)
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license, or a commitment to obtain it within six months
- Comfort with BAS, CMMS, and Entrata (or ability to get up to speed quickly)
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret warranties
- Valid driver's license and physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and stand for extended shifts
