Role And Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units
- Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Administer medications, conduct assessments, and prepare patients for procedures
- Document patient information accurately and maintain safety and infection control standards
- Advocate for patients, facilitate discharge planning, and ensure effective communication with patients and families
- Manage multiple patients efficiently, prioritize care based on acuity, and support a safe environment
- Perform other duties within scope of practice and adhere to regulatory standards
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license per state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
- Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain attention to detail
- Visual acuity and effective communication skills
