Key responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinating with other departments. The role involves supervising and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members, maintaining professional accountability, and adhering to organizational standards and values.
Qualifications include a minimum of 1 year ICU nursing experience, a current RN license (Missouri or Compact State), and strong critical care, assessment, and communication skills.
Certifications required are BLS (within 30 days of hire), ACLS, and any additional unit-specific credentials.
Key duties involve working in a 19-bed Critical Care Unit that includes ICU and Transitional Care, caring for patients with diverse critical illnesses, and supporting patient transitions.
