- Performing mammography procedures, positioning patients, developing films, and evaluating image quality.
- Ensuring patient safety, maintaining radiation safety protocols, and adhering to regulatory guidelines (MQSA/ACR).
- Providing patient education, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive experience.
- Accurately inputting patient data into computer systems and coordinating with healthcare teams.
- Monitoring patient condition during procedures, managing contrast media, and responding to adverse reactions.
- Maintaining a clean, organized radiology room and participating in quality assurance activities.
- Collaborating effectively with staff, adhering to safety policies, and participating in shift rotations and standby calls.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and Basic Life Support certification at hire.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- State of Washington Mammography Technologist certification and ARRT-M registration or willingness to train with two years of radiology experience.
