We are a seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our clients accounting team. This individual will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives. Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing general ledger activities, preparing financial statements, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role will partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Analyze financial data and identify variances or trends
- Support external audits and tax preparation processes
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally with AP, AR, payroll, and operational teams
- Participate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, or SAP
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
- Experience with audit preparation and financial statement analysis
- Exposure to multi-entity or multi-state accounting environments

Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
