Key Responsibilities:
- What You'll Do:
- Opens facility, checking work orders, evaluating grounds and considering safety guidelines and policies
- Supervises/Manages the custodial activities of assigned facility according to appearance standards after use
- Manages and performs maintenance activities of facility grounds (e.g., trims landscaping, mows grass, removes snow and ice, athletic field irrigation) and housekeeping activities (e.g., the positive appearance of facility, graffiti)
- Communicates and coordinates with Facility Maintenance other District departments
- Leads, supervises, coordinates and trains facility staff, conducts performance evaluations, and makes employee personnel recommendations (e.g., promotions, transfers, discipline) to area supervisor
- Schedules and delegates to assigned staff based on maintenance schedule and work priority
- Maintains working order of facility tools, vacuums, floor maintenance equipment
- Receives weekly supply orders and shipments and verifies accuracy of order and distributes to classroom
- Supervises/Manages the custodial activities of assigned facility according to appearance standards after use
