Position Title:
CNC Programmer
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay:
$30.00 – $37.00/hour (DOE)
Position Summary
The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing CNC programs for aerospace components. This role supports production through fixture design, process development, and troubleshooting machining issues on the shop floor.
Must-Haves
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of CNC machining experience (Titanium, Aluminum, Stainless, or aerospace metals)
Strong understanding of G & M code
Experience with CAD/CAM software
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
Knowledge of tooling, machining processes, and manufacturing workflows
Experience with measuring tools and inspection concepts
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Nice to Have
Technical degree in CNC Programming or related field
Experience with NX, CATIA, Vericut, or similar CAM software
3 years in aerospace manufacturing
Experience with 5-axis machining
Fixture design experience
Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI)
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
Design fixtures and support tooling for new and existing parts
Ensure programs meet GD&T and engineering requirements
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues on the shop floor
Maintain program revisions and document control
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce cost and increase efficiency
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues
Participate in audits and ensure compliance with quality standards
