Description/Job Summary

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Schedule: 12 hours rotating swing shift, 4 days on / 4 days off then 4 nights on / 4 nights off.

Job Summary: Operates, inspects, a conducts maintenance activities and cleaning of equipment and areas related to the grinding of hulls . Ensures that the equipment is functioning properly, is well maintained, and product is within specification/requirement. Will be responsible for loading trucks and notifying supervisor and management of any quality, food safety, or food security issues.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be willing to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 100 feet.
• Must be willing to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to climb stairs and ladders throughout the day.
• Must possess basic mechanical skills.
• Must read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
• Must be willing to be trained to necessary paperwork.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.
  
  

Preferences

• Completion of Manufacturing Skills Basic Certification through Washington County Economic Alliance.
