Plant Engineering Manager

Job Summary: The Plant Engineering Manager will direct engineering and maintenance teams within the rice milling operations. This position will work with the operations team to keep processes efficient while helping maintain safety and food safety. Responsible for both capital budgets and repair expenses.
Salary commensurate with experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Must possess a minimum of B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related field from 4-year accredited university or college.
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess working knowledge of computer
Must be willing and able to travel as needed. Most travel is within 150-mile radius of main office.
Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push, pull, and crawl throughout the day.
Must be willing and able to ride man-lifts.
Must be willing and able to climb to and work at heights up to 200 feet.
Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures for long periods of time.
Must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.

Preferences:
Knowledge and use of Microsoft programs, spreadsheets, database, scheduling programs, and familiarity with current drafting software.

Previous experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.

2 Years of Engineering or Maintenance Management experience.
