Description/Job Summary

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Schedule: 12 hours rotating swing shift, 4 days on / 4 days off then 4 nights on / 4 nights off.

Job Summary: Operates, inspects, a conducts maintenance activities and cleaning of equipment and areas related to loadout area and equipment. Ensures that the equipment is functioning properly, is well maintained, and product is within specification/requirement and loading truck to the proper weight. The operator is responsible for completing all paperwork related to each load. Also responsible for notifynotifying supervisor and management of any quality, food safety, or food security issues.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be willing to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 100 feet.
• Must be willing to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to climb stairs and ladders throughout the day.
• Must possess basic mechanical skills.
• Must read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
• Must be willing to be trained to necessary paperwork.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.
  
  

Preferences

• Completion of Manufacturing Skills Basic Certification through Washington County Economic Alliance.
