Your impact
- Develop detailed shop and fabrication drawings for structural steel elements.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce accurate, constructible details.
- Model and draft using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure specification compliance.
- Interface with fabrication teams to troubleshoot design issues during production.
- Systematically manage drawing logs, revisions, and version control.
- Contribute updates and insights during project coordination meetings.
- Background as a Structural Steel Detailer or related detailing/drafting position.
- Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Tekla, or equivalent).
- Strong command of structural steel design concepts and fabrication processes.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail under deadline pressure.
- Effective communicator and collaborative team contributor.
- Associate’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related area preferred.
- Knowledge of steel detailing codes and industry standards.
- Blueprint reading
Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
