A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting located in Parker, Colorado. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week during the normal school year, working primarily with students in grades K-8, with a caseload of approximately 40 students. The focus is mainly on elementary-aged children, providing targeted speech and language therapy to support their academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students in grades K-8
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in meetings and team discussions related to student needs
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working within a school environment preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in children from kindergarten through 8th grade
