Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support a school setting located in Renton, WA. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to students while working in a dynamic educational environment.Start Date: As soon as possibleFTE: 1.0 FTE through May 5, 2026; transitioning to 0.4 FTE through the end of the school year (with potential to remain at 1.0 FTE if the current SLP on leave does not return)Responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language assessments to identify student needs Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals Documenting and tracking student progress according to school and district guidelines Participating in eligibility meetings and providing expert recommendations Desired qualifications: Current OSPI ESA certification Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working in school-based settings preferred Strong communication and organizational skills This role also includes access to Procare Benefits, supporting your well-being while serving the student population.
