Speech-Language Pathologist in Renton, WA

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-time contract position supporting an elementary caseload in a school setting located in Renton, WA. This opportunity begins immediately and continues through June 18, 2020, with potential extension into summer to provide compensatory services.

The SLP will serve approximately 38 elementary students, working 37.5 hours per week. This role requires adapting to a remote/virtual learning environment as the district currently utilizes distance learning models. Strong technology skills are essential to effectively deliver services in this format.

Qualifications And Experience

• Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with elementary-aged students
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 38 students
• Proficiency with remote/virtual therapy tools and technology
• Strong communication skills and flexibility in adapting to evolving educational environments

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapy for elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Deliver services effectively in remote and virtual settings as required by the districts learning model
