A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 academic year in Henderson, CO. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to students in grades K-8 within a school setting. The position requires an active SLP license and experience delivering therapy aligned with school-based standards.
Location:
- Henderson, Colorado (onsite position)
Responsibilities:
- Manage a K-8 caseload of students requiring speech-language evaluations and interventions
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
- Provide therapy services Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is mandatory
- Previous experience working in school settings highly preferred
- Knowledge of current speech and language therapy practices and educational standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff
- Ability to work onsite four days per week as specified
