Exciting opportunities await for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding contract role this Fall 2026 near Edison, NJ. Multiple full-time positions are available to provide essential support during maternity leaves in two welcoming elementary schools known for their commitment to inclusive education. These 12-week assignments start in September and require a 35 hour commitment each week.
Your work will focus on elementary-aged students (K-5) with significant Autism and preschool populations, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact in both communication and social-emotional development. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply if securing outside supervision, though preference will be given to candidates with their CCCs. Please note, SLPAs are not eligible for these positions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid New Jersey SLP license
- Current NJ SLS Certification
- CCC-SLP highly preferred; CFs considered (who can obtain outside supervision)
- Previous experience in school settings and working with Autism and preschool populations a strong asset
- Passion for fostering communication growth across diverse student profiles
- Reliable and dedicated onsite availability
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct therapy and intervention to students across K–5, with a focus on Autism and younger learners
- Conduct evaluations, maintain documentation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in student support and progress monitoring meetings
