You'll work 40 hours per week, engaging learners ages 15–21 as they pursue their high school diplomas and prepare for successful transitions into sustainable careers.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Ohio
- Previous experience teaching or supporting students with disabilities in a school setting
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to equity, flexibility, and advocacy for diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and deliver instruction aligned with each student’s IEP goals
- Utilize the program’s innovative, self-paced curriculum to meet students where they are
- Support students in academic and career preparedness, fostering independence and confidence
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school support staff, and career training teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance records
