This contract role runs from August 3, 2026, to June 25, 2027, offering the chance to guide students toward a high school diploma, hands-on career training, and a path to sustainable employment. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching license or eligibility in Ohio.
- Previous classroom experience with high school students, especially those facing academic or life challenges.
- Deep understanding of IEP development, accommodation implementation, and effective communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Passion for building relationships and fostering a growth mindset in resilient learners.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in adapting instructional strategies to meet diverse needs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Instruct, motivate, and support students enrolled in a flexible, career-focused curriculum.
- Develop individualized education plans in collaboration with faculty, students, and parents.
