Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in school psychology
- State certification as a School Psychologist
- Two years of experience as a school psychology intern or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated ability to conduct psychoeducational assessments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to interpret and relay complex information clearly
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and external partners
- Advanced organizational and data analysis skills
- Comfortable using computers and various office equipment
- Physically able to perform job duties involving some walking, standing, and light lifting
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
- Administer, score, and interpret a range of psychological assessments
- Communicate evaluation results to families and educational staff
- Provide individual and group counseling for students
- Consult on academic, behavioral, and mental health interventions
- Participate in Student Assessment Teams and IEP development
- Offer crisis intervention and management services
- Collaborate with outside agencies for student support
- Complete required documentation and reports for school and Medicaid purposes
