Special Ed Teacher - Quincy, Massachusetts

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position is based in Quincy, MA, serving an elementary caseload with three students, requiring a compassionate and skilled educator committed to fostering individual student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual educational plans for students in Pre-K to 8th grade.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods to maximize learning outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to support student development.
• Maintain compliance with district and state special education guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Special Education Pre-K - 8 Certificate is required.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Job Details:

• Contract position from start date as soon as possible through June 12, 2026.
• Workweek of 37.5 hours over 5 days.
• Elementary caseload of three students.
