Schools - Speech Language Pathologist

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Mickleton, NJ is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide interim speech therapy services for students in grades 3 through 6. This temporary contract position is to cover a maternity leave and extends through the end of March, with a schedule of three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized speech and language therapy programs for K-12 students, focusing on 3rd to 6th grades
• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to support student communication needs
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines related to speech services

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and certification to practice in New Jersey
• Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in grades 3-6
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and evidence-based interventions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative educational team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
