A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contractual position serving students in grades 6-12 within a K-12 educational setting located in Bethel Park, PA. This role offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language therapy services through both in-person and teletherapy modalities, starting as soon as possible for the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in grades 6-12, supporting diverse communication goals
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create effective intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
- Use teletherapy platforms effectively to reach students remotely when needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA
- Experience providing teletherapy services in educational settings
- Prior work in school-based SLP roles serving K-12 populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage and motivate adolescent students
