A well-established K-12 school in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support their speech and language programs. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population in a collaborative educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
• Implement treatment plans as directed and maintain detailed session documentation.
• Conduct screenings and support assessment activities under supervision.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to monitor student progress and promote effective communication strategies.
• Participate in relevant meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) goals.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA certification or licensure as required by the state of California.
• Experience working in a school setting with K-12 students preferred.
• Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and maintain accurate records.
