This contract opportunity runs onsite from September 1, 2026, through June 23, 2027, serving a diverse K-12 caseload near Tacoma, WA. Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Washington State.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
- Must obtain or currently hold a Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate.
- Completed fingerprinting through OSPI (or willingness to complete prior to start).
- Experience or comfort working with K-12 students in a school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Deliver direct therapy services onsite, targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication as needed.
- Provide regular progress updates to parents, teachers, and school staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines.
