This assignment begins September 1, 2026, and extends through October 13, 2026, offering the chance to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM). You’ll be working with a manageable caseload of 24 students, all utilizing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods, alongside another supportive SLP within the building. Notably, this role focuses solely on delivering IEP services—no evaluations required—letting you dedicate your expertise where it’s needed most.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Minnesota PELSB license (CCC-SLP required)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, although not required
- Demonstrated skill or interest in working with AAC devices and middle school populations
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect IEP services to assigned students
- Develop and implement effective communication interventions, integrating AAC strategies
- Collaborate with another on-site SLP and multidisciplinary team to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate records of services and document student growth
- Communicate regularly with families and school staff as needed
