Your background should include:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Either a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience, education, or strong interest in working with pediatric populations within school settings
- Ability to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary educational teams
Role responsibilities will involve:
- Conducting screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics for students with communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on speech, language, and communication needs
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
- Consulting with parents, teachers, and other school staff regarding speech and language strategies to support student success
- Participating in IEP meetings and supporting compliance with federal and state regulations
