Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in SLP
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but strong clinical skills in pediatric speech therapy will be considered
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs collaboratively with educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of students to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each student’s communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student outcomes throughout the school year
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to educational planning
- Offer guidance and support to educational staff regarding speech-language development and interventions
