School Psychologist - Pawtucket, RI

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 school located in Pawtucket, RI. This contract role requires fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) to support students and staff effectively within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students to identify learning and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and intervention services tailored to students' social, emotional, and academic challenges.
• Utilize ASL fluency to communicate and build rapport with deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their families.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute expertise in student support planning.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports to support educational planning and compliance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language is required.
• Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a contract role throughout the school year.
