Key Qualifications:
- Hold a Professional Special Services License from the Colorado Department of Education (or have an active application for licensure in process if traveling from out of state)
- Formal training and prior experience in school psychology, preferably in elementary settings
- Ability to clearly communicate your professional experiences and approaches during a two-step interview process
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and collaborating with school teams
- Open to considering candidates who are relocating, with expectations to proactively research the area and plan for housing and transportation
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, intervention, and consultation, to elementary students
- Collaborate with SPED coordinators, teachers, and administrators to support students’ academic and social-emotional development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary evaluations
- Maintain thorough, confidential records for caseload management
