This opportunity is designed for a skilled School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services in a dynamic K-12 educational setting. The position is based in Monroe, MI, and offers a contract through the complete school year (CSY). This role supports student success, emotional well-being, and academic growth by collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments and interpret results to guide interventions
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide support for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster a positive learning environment
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services as required
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Maintain detailed records and comply with state and federal regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure for K-12 settings
- Experience conducting assessments and delivering services in schools
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and psychological testing instruments
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
