School Occupational Therapist | Springfield, Vermont

Make a meaningful impact as a district-wide Occupational Therapist in a supportive and collaborative educational setting. This contract opportunity serves students across multiple schools, providing essential services to help young learners achieve their greatest potential.

You will work full-time (35-37.5 hours per week) throughout the academic year, from late August through mid-June, collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists to deliver high-quality, student-centered occupational therapy. Your expertise will benefit students in grades K-12 across four engaging school buildings.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Current Occupational Therapist license and Vermont OT certificate required
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based setting desirable
• Strong ability to manage a district-wide caseload
• Effective communication and collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to individualized and evidence-based interventions

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel between school buildings to assess and provide direct therapy for students with diverse needs
• Develop, implement, and regularly update IEP goals and interventions
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
• Consult with teachers and staff, recommending adaptive strategies and supports
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
