This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated physical therapist interested in working with a diverse K-12 population. The position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, providing services districtwide for one full FTE.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license for the state (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in a school-based setting (K-12 preferred)
- Ability to work collaboratively with other educators, service providers, and families
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to in-person service delivery for the entirety of the school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy evaluations and interventions for students across multiple schools, supporting IEP goals and access to education
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to adapt activities for student participation
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Provide consultative services to educators and families to promote student well-being and inclusion
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and participate in the development of student plans
