What You'll Bring
- Active Connecticut state SLP-CCC license (required)
- Proven experience working in K-12 educational settings, preferably PreK through Middle School
- Strong proficiency in diagnosing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents to craft and implement individualized education plans
- Clear, compassionate communication skills and adaptable problem-solving abilities
- Experience conducting therapy sessions, assessments, and documentation in line with school requirements
- Serve onsite at assigned locations: Green-Hills PreK (08.24.2026 to 11.13.2026), Chippens Hill Middle School (08.27.2026 through the end of November), or Mountain View (08.27.2026 to 11.23.2026)
- Work a consistent 35-hour workweek during your assignment
- Deliver individualized and group therapy services to students, closely tracking progress and updating records
- Conduct thorough speech/language evaluations for students referred for assessment
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input to support each student’s goals
- Maintain open and responsive communication with staff and families to ensure student success
