Schedule
- Travel position; rotating shifts and weekend coverage as needed
- Deliver comprehensive, culturally sensitive nursing care across the lifespan
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans using evidence-based practice
- Respond to changes in patient condition promptly and escalate care appropriately
- Administer medications/treatments and provide patient/family education
- Document all assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement, comply with infection prevention policies, and maintain required competencies
- Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association)
- High-risk competency and clinical competency validation (within 3 months of hire)
- Ability to manage fluctuating acuity, strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records
