Key Qualifications:
- Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Illinois
- Previous experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based therapy
- Comfortable working with elementary-aged children
- Ability to adapt plans to meet each student’s individual needs
- Willingness to manage a short-term or semester-based contract
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support academic and functional success for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions on student development
- Manage a flexible schedule, choosing to work two or three days per week, as preferred
