This opportunity is perfect for a dedicated Physical Therapist who thrives in a school environment and is seeking a part-time role, working 1-2 days per week from ASAP through June 2026. You’ll play a critical part in fostering student growth, from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade, and will be well-positioned for potential renewal into the following academic year with the possibility of expanded hours.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid and current Physical Therapy license and certification required
- Prior experience delivering PT services within a school setting
- Familiarity working with PreK–12th grade student populations
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to assess, develop, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to meet a diverse range of challenges in the school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct physical therapy services individually or in group settings, targeting motor skills, mobility, and functional independence
- Collaborate closely with educational teams to support student participation in academic and social activities
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of services, progress, and outcomes
- Consult with educators and families regarding strategies and tools that enhance student access and engagement
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help guide the long-term support for students with physical challenges
