Role details:
- Contract dates: August 11, 2026 – May 28, 2027
- Work schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday
- Caseload: Approximately 45 students, K–8th grade
- Locations: Two schools, collaborative and supportive teams
Qualifications:
- Active and valid South Carolina OT license required
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Passion for working with children and collaborating with staff and families
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs through thorough evaluations and collaborate on IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to foster independence and skill development in students
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services within school settings
- Engage with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports per district and state guidelines
