Metals Heat Treat Operator
- First Shift: $16.50 per hour and will go to $17.00 after 90 days.
- Second Shift: $17.25 per hour and will go to $17.75 after 90 days.
- Third Shift: $18.00 per hour and will go to $18.50 after 90 days

Description:
This position is responsible for the operation of the Geomet and Top Coat plating lines. The Machines apply a rust preventative coating to metal parts to per the customer’s corrosion requirements.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrates mechanical abilities.
- Blue print reading and knowledge of metrics.
- Previous experience with plating process is a big plus.
- Knowledge of metric system.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
- Basic level troubleshooting (tolerances, material, speeds, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic operation of Geomet (base coat) and Top Coat plating lines.
- Troubleshoot any problems on themachines.
- Troubleshoot and correct any issue with products that have poor quality.
- Maintain the mixing of base coat chemicals.
- Perform quality checks and conduct SPC (X bar R charts).
- Perform operation of Shot Blast machine and quality checks.
- Maintain production volumes as required
- Must stand, bend, stoop, twist, push, pull and lift up to 60 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. on a constant basis throughout shift.
