CNC Fiber Laser Operator/Programmer:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Fiber Laser Operator/Programmer to set up, operate, and maintain CNC fiber laser cutting machines. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with fiber lasers, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
CNC Fiber Laser Operator/programmer Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC fiber laser cutting machines to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate cuts.
- Load and unload materials onto machines, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning.
- Adjust machine settings (speed, power, and focal length) to achieve optimal cutting results.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure machine efficiency.
- Inspect finished products to verify they meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols and company standards.
- Track and record production data, including machine performance and material usage.
- Follow all company policies and adhere to strict safety guidelines.
- Create and optimize CNC programs for flat laser cutting machines
- Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications
- Use SolidWorks to review, modify, and prepare part files
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, and production staff
- Monitor and adjust programs to maximize material and production efficiency
- Troubleshoot programming and machine performance issues
CNC Fiber Laser Operator Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or vocational training in CNC operation preferred).
- Proven experience operating CNC fiber laser machines.
- Strong understanding of CNC nesting, G-code, and machine operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of materials and their properties, including metal and non-metal cutting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.85 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
