Metals Heat Treat Operator
- First Shift: $16.50 per hour and will go to $17.00 after 90 days.
- Second Shift: $17.25 per hour and will go to $17.75 after 90 days.
- Third Shift: $18.00 per hour and will go to $18.50 after 90 days

Description:
Performs general labor duties associated with heat treat operations including adjusting maintain controls on furnace and gas generator to ensure proper settings, dew points and carbon potential, batch furnace operations and shut down procedures.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Set up and operation of heat treat machine and auxiliary equipment including feeder, loader, and conveyor
- Demonstrate Mechanical abilities.
- Blue print reading and knowledge of metrics.
- Basic trouble shooting.
- Understand control and monitoring of heat treat furnaces including limitations.
- Prior heat treat and/or furnace operation experience are highly preferred.
- 1 year experience in forklift and overhead crane operation.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to production schedules and work orders to determine processing sequences, furnace temperatures and heat cycle requirements for objects to be heat-treated.
- Maintain necessary records as required by SOPs and work instructions
- Ability to start up and shutdown heat treat furnace and auxiliary equipment.
- Adjust controls to maintain temperatures and heating times.
- Perform material inspections and identification of all raw, in-process and finished materials.
- Tests all parts for conformity to quality and customer specifications.
- Material handling.
- Monitors work orders.
- Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work area.
- Maintain records as required by SOPs and work instructions
